Appointment Form Block

The Appointment Form block embeds the booking interface for one appointable product without the [appointment_form] shortcode.

Before you begin

How it works

Pick a product in the block inspector; the editor shows a live preview. Display toggles control title, price, rating, and related product chrome.

What you need

You are ready when

  1. ✅ Block preview shows slots on the frontend page
  2. ✅ A test booking from the embedded form completes checkout

Add the block​

  1. Open a page or post in the block editor
  2. Click + and search for Appointment Form (under WooCommerce)
  3. Insert the block

Select a product​

Search for an appointable product in the block settings. The preview updates when a product is selected.

Display options​

Show or hide: Title, Rating, Price, Excerpt, Meta, Sharing.

Behavior​

  • Auto-select availability: Default / Enable / Disable — when enabled, selects the first available slot automatically
Timezones

Customer timezone display is site-wide, not per block. See Timezones.

The inspector may still show Customer Timezones (Default / Enable / Disable). That control was removed in 5.3.11 and has no effect.

Toolbar actions​

  • Replace Product — pick a different product
  • Edit Product — open product edit in a new tab
  • View Product — open the live product page
